Acts II Community Theater and Drama Workshop

A theater designed to bring literature to life through the magic of theatre with wholesome, educational, and high quality productions for the community.
Wednesday evening, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. $5.00 per lesson

Annual Kwanzaa Celebration

Families, friends and the community gather for a time of celebration as Afrikan people. It’s free and open to the public as long as they come in peace.
Held in December

Anti-Bullying Martial Art Cultural Enrichment Program

Includes lessons in Afrikan Studies and such subject matter as swahili.
Saturday afternoon, 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (youth and adult classes offered)

Bible Study

A great way to experience the Word of God each week and learn something new about our purpose and journey in this life.
Tuesday afternoon, noon until 2:00 p.m. (at Mt. Zion UMC) Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (at Emmarts UMC)

Open Table Fellowship

A relaxing night of food, fun and fellowship. Open Table Fellowship serves as an entry way for engagement where members and friends come together for fellowship. A different ministry of Mt. Zion UMC hosts this free event each month and chooses an interactive theme.

Sewing Classes

Students learn how to take measurements, make patterns, and combine those skills to create a perfectly-fitted garment. Courses include written tutorial.

United Women of Faith

A community of women whose purpose is to develop creative, supportive fellowship and engage in activities that advance global ministries of the church.
Every second Sunday of each month immediately after service.
